I can only imagine the magnificent beauty, abundance, peace and tranquility of the Americas before Christopher Columbus. It must have been the most incredible place in the western hemisphere. Endless forests, pristine fresh water, lakes, beaches, the Atlantic and the pacific oceans. Teaming with life, the oceans held trillions of fish and crustacean's that we pay top dollar for today. Sadly Columbus brought with him nothing but death and destruction, today America is like one giant master planed community with ugly strip malls form coast to coast. Now their are some good things about America today but we can never get back the beauty she once was. This painting is 60" x 30" acrylic on canvas.

From the Great Rift Valley in Kenya, the birth place of mankind. Humans have migrated all over the world. Our journey throughout history is truly mind boggling when we stop to examine it. We inhabit every continent and environment on the planet. We have adapted to every type of climate and learned to survive and thrive in all those places. I wanted to capture the idea of movement and a journey in this painting. 60" x 30" acrylic on canvas.
